Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following production information and charts.
• Packages freshly baked goods and displays them properly.
• Decorates special orders or case products.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following safety and freshness policies.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments.
• Ensures products are fresh and meet quality standards.
• Generates labels and price tickets and ensures items are priced correctly.
• Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Operates bakery equipment safely.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
