Job summary

PAQ, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Combo Clerk to support the Bakery Lead in meeting sales goals and to contribute to a positive customer shopping experience. This role involves preparing, packaging, and stocking bakery items, handling cash, operating POS equipment, and ensuring food safety and department cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Weekend and evening availability is required, with on-the-job training provided. PAQ, Inc.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and helpful customer service, resolving concerns with supervisor help.
Follow procedures for receiving, pricing, stocking products to ensure accuracy.
Prepare, package, and stock bakery items.
Maintain inventory to ensure freshness and turnover.
Report unsafe conditions and equipment malfunctions.
Maintain a clean, attractive department and comply with safety policies.
Operate cash handling and POS equipment.
