Summary

Bakery Sales Clerks are responsible for providing excellent guest service, educating guests about products, and effectively selling and presenting products to differentiate the store experience from other supermarkets.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with guests upon entry
• Exceed guest expectations for service
• Attend to guest needs promptly and effectively
• Maintain displays, ensuring cleanliness, proper merchandising, signage, and lighting
• Follow packing guidelines and ensure product quality and rotation
• Demo and sell products as instructed
• Complete daily duties accurately and on time
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Follow detailed instructions for special orders
• Assist with break-out and dishwashing tasks
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization in the store
• Follow all Food Safety procedures
• Assist in training new team members
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Key Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk
• Lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs
• Work in a freezer for up to 15 minutes
