Minimum Position Qualifications :
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.

Essential Job Functions :
  • Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper equipment.
  • Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
  • Inform customers of bakery specials.
  • Provide fresh products ordered by customers, ensuring proper portion sizes.
  • Recommend bakery items to customers.
  • Use bakery equipment according to guidelines.
  • Follow food temperature logs and cooking/baking instructions.
  • Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
  • Package, label, and inventory ingredients and merchandise.
  • Check product quality and review "sell by" dates.
  • Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
  • Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping.
  • Locate products within the store and stay current with ads and promotions.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer questions.
  • Monitor inventory and stocking conditions.
  • Ensure proper temperatures and maintain logs.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Adhere to food safety and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
  • Display a positive attitude and practice preventive maintenance.
  • Report accidents, safety risks, and illegal activities.
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
