Responsibilities

1. Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
2. Provide high-level customer service, ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, presented, and the bakery area is kept clean.
3. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery environment, including cleaning shelves, products, and floors.
4. Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; monitor product rotation and discard outdated items.
5. Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
6. Thrive in a fast-paced environment; be proactive and attentive to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years bakery experience preferred.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and good communication skills.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform housekeeping duties and operate bakery equipment safely.
• Stand for up to 8 hours; lift and transfer items up to 40 lbs. as required.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards; maintain a Food Handlers permit.
