Job Title: Bakery Clerk

FLSA Status: Hourly

Reports To: Bakery Department Manager

Our bakery associates are key in creating memorable moments for guests. We offer a dynamic, creative environment where you can contribute to a variety of bakery delights.

As a Bakery Clerk, you'll ensure excellent guest service, assist with finding bakery items, take special orders, and package products with care. Your creativity will enhance our bakery offerings for all occasions.

Seeking availability from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Job Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Provide Exceptional Guest Service: Greet guests, answer questions, and address concerns professionally. Assist in locating bakery items, handle special requests, take accurate orders, and answer phone calls courteously.
• Merchandising: Package and price items, replenish stock, and monitor inventory to ensure appealing displays and product availability.
• Food Safety: Maintain product freshness by rotating stock, keep work areas clean, adhere to safety protocols, and meet quality standards.
• Flexibility: Perform additional duties as needed to support the team.
• Attendance: Maintain regular, timely attendance and communicate in advance for absences.

Qualifications:

• Customer-focused attitude and tactful communication skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Understanding of safety requirements and policies.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Standing for extended periods (80%).
• Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally (20%).
• Working near moving machinery (50%).
• Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (20%).

Work Schedule: Flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on your availability.
