Job summary

Food Lion in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Deli Bakery Team Member to deliver quality customer service, maintain department standards, and help maximize sales through friendly, accurate service.

You will handle product preparation, sanitation, greeting customers, and following safety guidelines while contributing to a clean, organized store environment. Previous retail deli experience is a plus; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Deli Bakery Department and maintain department standards.
• Ensure proper sanitation and food handling, and follow safety guidelines.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying merchandise.
• Adhere to company policies, dress code and standard practice manuals.
• Observe and report unsafe conditions and incidents per procedure.
• Operate department tools (ACIS/CAO) and complete required training.
