BAKERY/CAKE DECORATOR (Finance)

• Second language proficiency (speaking, reading, or writing)
• Create a welcoming environment by engaging with customers and answering questions about products
• Maintain knowledge of products and suggest items to customers
• Offer samples and prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper equipment
• Recommend bakery products and ensure freshness and quality
• Decorate bakery items such as cakes, pastries, and cookies
• Label, stock, and inventory merchandise
• Report discrepancies and maintain store layout knowledge
• Monitor inventory and adhere to health and safety regulations
• Follow all safety, merchandising, and operational procedures, including loss prevention and sanitation
• Inspect equipment and report repairs
• Report safety risks, accidents, or illegal activities to management
