BAKERY/CAKE DECORATOR (Finance)

Minimum qualifications:

• Retail experience
• Bakery/cake decorating experience
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Basic math skills
• Effective communication skills

Desired qualifications:

• Second language skills (speaking, reading, writing)
• Ability to create a welcoming environment, answer product questions, and make suggestions
• Offer product samples and prepare bakery items, including wedding cakes, using proper equipment
• Recommend products to customers and ensure freshness and quality
• Decorate bakery items and manage inventory
• Report discrepancies and maintain knowledge of store layout and promotions
• Adhere to health, safety, and regulatory standards
• Follow safety protocols, conduct equipment inspections, and report hazards or incidents
