Job summary

Food Lion in Dillon, SC is seeking a Store Associate to provide quality customer service in the Deli Bakery Department, uphold sanitation and food safety standards, and help maximize sales through friendly, accurate service.

You will follow departmental procedures, operate inventory and ordering tools (ACIS/CAO), participate in trainings, wear the uniform, and work as part of a fast-paced team to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Deli Bakery to create a positive shopping experience.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Understand production standards and processing of products, including ingredients, mixes, and icings.
• Follow all manuals for processing, labeling, and display of products.
• Ensure proper sanitation and safe food handling.
• Coordinate ordering, receiving, preparation, and display of merchandise in line with policies.
• Adhere to company guidelines, safety, and dress code while on duty.
• Complete required CBT, training packets, and training aids.
