Job summary

Kneads Bakeshop is seeking a General Manager to lead both front-of-house operations and bakery activities in Baltimore, ensuring guest satisfaction, financial accuracy, and operational efficiency. You will supervise FOH staff, manage scheduling and payroll reconciliation, and leverage Toast POS for reporting and menu updates.

The role requires strong leadership, program oversight, and a hands-on approach to training, inventory control, and safety compliance in a fast-paced food-service

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory/management experience in food service (bakery/restaurant preferred).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for team motivation and guest service.
• Proficient with basic computer software and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FOH and bakery operations.
• Manage FOH team and training.
• Analyze labor costs and optimize scheduling within budget.
• Handle payroll reconciliation and PTO submissions.
• Oversee liquor inventory and ordering, ensuring compliance.
• Ensure accurate tracking of sales, labor, and inventory via Toast.
• Lead by example and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Resolve staff and guest issues promptly and professionally.
• Uphold cleanliness, safety, and health standards.
