Panera in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a dedicated team at a beloved bakery-cafe. You will partner with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, and grow the business.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Ability to hire, train and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• As Assistant General Manager, lead team and oversee operations with the General Manager.
• Plan and manage staffing needs, shift scheduling, people development, career development, and succession planning.
• Assist with hiring, on-boarding, and training of new team members while motivating and celebrating the team.
• Manage team performance to meet bakery-cafe goals, standards, and guest service.
• Partner with the GM to develop managers and champion Panera's Guiding Values & Behaviors.
• Work to ensure guests are delighted by food, service, and team.
• Build relationships to create long-term, loyal guests as part of the management team.
• Follow procedures to execute company strategies and initiatives.
• Ensure policies comply with regulations and maintain a healthy workplace.
• Assist in maintaining bakery-cafe costs and inventory.
• Help build Culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.
