Job summary

Manito Super 1 Foods, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Assistant Manager to lead the bakery department in Kalispell, MT. You will manage inventory, pricing, merchandising, and labor scheduling to maximize sales and gross profit.

You will train new team members on equipment, supervise ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and displays, and ensure strict sanitation, food safety, and personal hygiene standards across the operation.

Responsibilities

• Manage department inventory, pricing, merchandising, and labor and safety rules.
• Plan and order products and supplies and schedule work to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure that all new department employees receive proper training and safety instruction on all equipment in the bakery, and proper supervision to ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage and rotation of merchandise, and building of displays.
• Adhere to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene.

Bakery assistant managers will plan and order products and supplies and schedule work to maximize sales and gross profit. They will ensure that all new department employees receive proper training and safety instruction on all equipment in the bakery, and proper supervision to ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage and rotation of merchandise, and building of displays. Responsible for a variety of other tasks in the store, as well as, making sure that all employees are meeting safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards. They must adhere to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene.
