Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Team Member to support proofing and baking unfinished bakery goods, unpack shipments, and display items according to production charts while ensuring food safety, freshness, and quality. You will help maintain a clean, organized bakery and assist members with product selections.

This role emphasizes teamwork, speed, accuracy, and a positive member experience, with weekly pay and opportunities for growth within a values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Gathers products for the next business day.
• Packs freshly baked goods (cookies, pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes).
• Decorates special order or case products.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following safety and freshness policies.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments.
• Generates labels and price tickets and performs price checks.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and surfaces in the bakery.
