Job summary

ShopRite of Hoboken is hiring for a Baker in the Bakery Department. The role involves baking, dough handling, icing, packaging and filling pastry items, while maintaining a clean and attractive department.

You will support the Bakery Manager and ensure safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced store environment. Applicants must read, write and speak English, be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Stand/walk for scheduled shift.
• Lift 25–50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.
• Work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Sanitize work surfaces and equipment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt service.
• Rotate and stock merchandise and ensure proper signage.
