Job summary

Wegmans is seeking a friendly bakery team member to bake, produce, and package breads, bagels, and sweet treats in store. You’ll assist customers with questions and ensure displays stay fresh and inviting, while helping unload deliveries and stock shelves in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in a bakery and customer service is valuable. The role emphasizes teamwork and a people-first approach, with focus on quality, cleanliness, and consistent product freshness in Wegmans’ beloved bakery

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Bakery
• Collective customer service experience, internally and/or externally preferably in a food service, grocery or retail setting
• Basic tools and equipment used include common baking utensils and equipment, and oven.

Responsibilities

• Bake, produce, and package baked goods
• Provide incredible customer service and answer customer questions in a timely manner
• Ensure fresh and appealing displays by keeping cases and aisles clean and well-stocked
• Follow proper stocking, rotating, and merchandising techniques to ensure freshness
• May help unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays, and backroom coolers with new and existing inventory
