Lowes Foods in Johns Island, SC is seeking a friendly bakery associate to greet guests and provide excellent service. You will prepare products for sale, ensure freshness and quality, and assist with bakery operations including cake decoration as needed.

Role requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand for long periods, and work well with others. This position includes front-end responsibilities to maintain a smooth customer flow.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality required.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsabilités

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (baking, weighing, and pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• When requested perform clerk function of cake decorating.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Front end duties to ensure “no noticeable wait” standard is maintained.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
