Job summary

Sam's Club Tomball is hiring a Baker and Packager Associate to join the founding team at the new club. You will bake according to recipes, wrap and label items, and ensure freshness and food safety while delivering a great member experience.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, support high-volume bakery operations, and help build a culture of excellence from day one. Flexible scheduling, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Available for weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production needs, following recipes, make-up instructions, and company standards.
• Wrap, label, and store merchandise to maintain freshness, food safety, and Cold Chain compliance.
• Ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
• Use hand-held technology to support production planning, inventory, and ordering decisions.
• Assist members with bakery orders and provide friendly, knowledgeable service across the club as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked work areas and displays.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize baking equipment safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with associates to keep the bakery running smoothly and be flexible to support other areas as needed.
