Job summary

Drakes Supermarkets is seeking a motivated leader to join our North Lakes bakery department and drive exceptional service and results. You will report to the Bakery Manager and oversee a small team, ensuring rostering, orders, stock takes and daily operations run smoothly.

Your hands-on approach, strong leadership, and commitment to safety and customer service will help maintain our high standards in a competitive supermarket environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team in a retail environment.

About This Opportunity

Our North Lakes store is currently looking for a motivated and hard working leader, to join and help lead the store's bakery department.

Reporting directly to the Bakery Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!

Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

• Fresh food retail knowledge is preferred, but not essential
• Ability to lead and manage a team
• Ability to order and control costs
• An excellent understanding of gross profit calculations
• Accurate team rostering
• Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach
