Insomnia Cookies in Philadelphia is seeking an Accounting Manager – Bakeries/4-Wall to own bakery P&L and lead the multi-unit month-end close. You will oversee COGS, labor, utilities, and waste while partnering with Operations, Finance, and Projects to drive financial discipline across the organization.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred, and 6+ years of accounting leadership, with expertise in US GAAP and Workday ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of accounting leadership experience in consumer products.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting.
• Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own bakery/4-wall accounting for each location, with accurate variance explanations.
• Manage COGS, labor, utilities, waste, and margin analysis across locations.
• Lead multi-unit month-end close and standardize processes.
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure integrity of the general ledger in accordance with US GAAP.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, and Projects to drive financial discipline.
