KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Frying donuts, placing toppings, and decorating pastries and bread as needed.
  2. Carrying out kitchen operations and production tasks.
  3. Baking recipes and preparing all desserts.
  4. Performing general oven duties (checking dough conditioner).
  5. Preparing all needed materials and ingredients.
  6. Scaling and shaping all breads, loaves, and pastries.
  7. Following sanitization procedures and maintaining cleanliness of work station and kitchen.
  8. Having general knowledge of production methods and organization of bread production.
  9. Prioritizing and completing all assigned baking tasks.
  10. Ensuring a safe and hygienic workplace for all employees and guests.
  11. Receiving, stocking, and storing food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner.
  12. Informing supervisors when equipment is not functioning properly and managing food supplies.
  13. Completing reports related to production, usage, and waste.
  14. Performing other related duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
  1. Knowledge of food production processes, sanitization, and quality programs.
  2. Understanding of food microbiology, safety practices, and labeling (including FDA regulations).
  3. Recommended: Food Handler's Certificate or equivalent.
  4. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  5. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
  6. High emotional intelligence, empathy, self-motivation, and drive.
  7. Team player who fosters collaboration and engagement.
