Job summary

Levy, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Baker to prepare, present and serve food at our Mammoth Lakes location. The role offers a pay range of $21.00 to $23.00 per hour and demands attention to food safety, portion control, and friendly guest service.

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Stores food following safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work including washing, peeling, and cutting produce.
• Weighs and measures ingredients to recipe specifications.
• Carries pans and trays between stations, following safety standards.
• Stores food with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils to maintain hygiene.
• Distributes supplies and equipment as needed.
• Follows approved recipes and portion control to maintain quality.
• Serves customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays feedback to supervisor.
• Maintains compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.

• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
