Position: Baker

The Baker is responsible for preparing yeast rolls, cakes, pies, specialty desserts, and other baked goods. The role requires attention to freshness, speed, cleanliness, and organization in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

1. Food Production:
   • Prepare handmade yeast rolls, cakes, pies, and other baked items.
   • Prepare breakfast bakery items on weekends to meet production needs.
   • Follow the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
2. Operational Excellence:
   • Ensure bakery products are fresh, tasty, visually appealing, and served hot when appropriate.
   • Maintain quality by following Golden Corral recipes and standards.
   • Ensure proper portioning and recipe yields.
   • Adhere to the Bakery and Dessert Café Production Guide.
3. Guest Service:
   • Be friendly and courteous to guests, assisting with baked goods.
   • Follow responsibilities related to just-in-time delivery.
4. Cleanliness:
   • Meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards as per duty roster.
   • Follow local health department laws.
