Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Baker at Kenyon College in Gambier, OH. This is a full-time role focused on baking bakery items and pastries for the campus dining locations.

The position involves preparing desserts for dining and events, maintaining proper temperatures, inventory, and displays, and supporting general kitchen operations as directed by the GM or Chef.

Qualifications

• Read, write and perform basic math.

• Occasionally lift 30 pounds.

• Set up product displays.
• Order, purchase, and stock bakery items.
• Maintain inventory and product cost controls.
• Ensure proper sanitization of kitchen area.
