Job summary

Einstein Bros. Bagels in Grosse Pointe, MI is seeking a Baker to stock the bagel wall and pastry case, assist with order taking and sandwich making, and help keep the store clean.

We offer early starts (as early as 3 AM) and a team-focused environment. Candidates must be 18+, able to multitask in a fast-paced setting, and able to pass background checks where required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work varied hours including early hours and weekends.
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license preferred at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Stock the bagel wall and pastry case to ensure daily quality.
• Assist guests with order taking and sandwich making.
• Maintain a safe, clean store environment and teamwork.

What’s a day in the life of a Baker? Our Bakers ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case. We work as a team to provide excellent guest service by helping with order taking, sandwich making, etc. Our teams take pride in ensuring the quality of the food and beverages we serve; and by keeping a safe and clean store environment.

What we are looking for:

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
