Job summary

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a Baker to join our Mesa, AZ baking team. You will start early, prep the bagel wall and pastry case, and help with order taking and sandwich assembly to deliver friendly guest service.

Join our crew to contribute to quality food, a clean store, and a positive atmosphere. We offer a predictable schedule with no late evenings and opportunities to grow within Bagel Brands.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work varied hours including early hours and weekends.
• Background check as applicable with local/state/federal law.
• Driver's license preferred but not required at all locations.

Responsibilities

• Stock the bagel wall and pastry case to ensure quality products on each shift.
• Assist with order taking and sandwich preparation to provide great guest service.
• Maintain a safe, clean store environment and contribute to teamwork across shifts.

We are looking for a Baker! We wouldn’t be much if we didn’t have our bagels, and a bagel is only as good as the person who bakes it! The baker is first in our hearts and the first ones in our bakeries. Our Bakers arrive early (as early as 3AM) turn on a podcast or their favorite band and take care of what makes us who we are – bagels!
What’s a day in the life of a Baker? Our Bakers ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case. We work as a team to provide excellent guest service by helping with order taking, sandwich making, etc. Our teams take pride in ensuring the quality of the food and beverages we serve; and by keeping a safe and clean store environment. What We Are Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.
