Max's Bakery in Fresno, CA is seeking a motivated bakery associate to learn all phases of our production process. You will handle dough preparation, shaping, baking, and quality checks in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have at least a high school diploma, up to one year of bakery experience, and the ability to read and write English. The role supports a team, requires reliability, and offers career growth in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of bakery experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write English; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and rules; self-starter and capable of meeting timelines.
• Ability to multitask and perform basic math calculations.
• Knowledge of GMP and food-safety standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn all phases of the manufacturing process (tables, ovens, dividers, molders, ingredients and mix).
• Form, cut, mold, shape and bake dough.
• Monitor baking completion times.
• Report questionable product to department leads.
• Ensure processes meet customer or specification requirements and minimize risk.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
• Utilize tools and equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and SDS standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requisite Skills/Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Previous Experience, Certificates, License and Skills: 1 year of experience as a baker or a bakery background (preferred)
