Join to apply for the BAKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME) role at Bon Appétit Management Company.

We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time BAKER positions.

• Location: SCAD - 3515 Montgomery Street, Savannah, Georgia 31401. Online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time and part time; days and hours may vary. Availability for weekends, nights, and holidays is required.
• Requirement: Prior professional experience preferred.
• Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour.
• Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Job Summary

Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries as necessary per the provided production and catering sheets; assist in production planning to meet daily requirements.
• Ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes, following prescribed production standards and using proper equipment.
• Assist with the completion of production records to include waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages; inform supervisor when supplies are low.
• Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within the work area.
• Handle food items appropriately and with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments. Keep display equipment clean and free of debris.
• Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and customer‑service oriented manner. Relay relevant concerns from customers directly to supervisors.
• Consistently exhibit the ability to keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently.
• Check to ensure that all food is presented, served and displayed per standards.
• Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment, ensuring corporate and OSHA safety standards are followed.
• Complete shift work, as assigned, in a timely and thorough manner in accordance with department standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
