Eurest USA is seeking a full-time Baker at the Amgen facility in Newbury Park, CA. The shift runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with opportunity for immediate hire. Requires 1–2 years of baking experience in food-hospitality and a proven ability to work well in a team.

Job Summary

Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per the provided production and catering sheets; assist in production planning to meet daily requirements.
• Ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes, adhering to production standards and equipment usage.
• Complete production records including waste tracking, used/unused portions and product shortages; inform supervisor when supplies are low.
• Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within the work area.
• Handle food items appropriately with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments; keep display equipment clean and free of debris.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, customer‑service oriented manner; relay concerns from customers to supervisors.
• Consistently exhibit the ability to keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently.
• Check that all food is presented, served and displayed per standards.
• Follow sanitation and safety principles, ensuring corporate and OSHA safety standards are met.
• Complete shift work as assigned, timely and thoroughly in accordance with department standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
