Job Opening: Baker at University of Wisconsin River Falls

Location: University of Wisconsin River Falls Board

We are hiring immediately for a full-time BAKER position.

Job Summary

Prepares baked goods according to recipes and production specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries as per production and catering sheets; assist in production planning.
2. Ensure proper food preparation using approved recipes and standards.
3. Assist with production records, waste tracking, and inventory monitoring.
4. Maintain presentation, food quality, portion control, and serving temperatures.
5. Maintain sanitation and orderliness of equipment and work area.
6. Handle food items safely and in compliance with safety regulations.
7. Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly; keep display equipment clean.
8. Interact with customers, resolve complaints, and relay concerns to supervisors.
9. Maintain calm, accurate, and efficient workflow during peak times.
10. Ensure food presentation and standards are met.
11. Follow sanitation and safety principles per standards.
12. Complete shift work timely and thoroughly.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
