$22.00 per hour

What will you do in this job?

This is a remote, fly-in position located in Denali National Park. All positions at DBL require assisting in other departments. Safety, anticipating guest needs, honoring our surroundings, and bringing your best every day are the core values we live by in order to provide dynamic guest service at the Denali Backcountry Lodge.

As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of breads, rolls, pastries, and other baked goods. Your duties will include:

• Baking large quantities of goods.
• Maintaining standards of safety and sanitation.
• Supervising employees and/or other helpers in the preparation of baked goods.
• Reading and following recipes.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

• At least two years of prior culinary experience; a degree in culinary arts or equivalent certification.
• Works well under pressure.
• Professional communication skills, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of food values and nutrition.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
