Position Summary Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available. They juggle several tasks while helping members with their bakery orders. It’s hard work but rewarding, part of a large team focused on happy members.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members
• Providing exceptional customer service across the club, answering questions
• Maintaining a clean, neat, member‑ready area
• Collaborating with other associates to build a strong bakery team and be flexible
• Preparing bakery department merchandise by following recipes, operating equipment, wrapping, labeling and storing merchandise, ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, cold chain and inventory management standards
• Leveraging digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
• Ensuring operational excellence, quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, assisting members, etc.
• Being an advocate for the department and club by providing high quality service and products
• Complying with company policies, ethics, and procedures
• Completing work assignments using policies, data, resources, collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers and partners, prioritizing deadlines, communicating progress, recommending improvements and adapting to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
