Summary
A Baker is responsible for building a reputation for Ultimate Service in guest relations, focusing on delivering consistent quality products that make every event or occasion feel special for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage guests upon entering the department.
- Ensure the availability of quality and consistent products.
- Maintain a positive atmosphere, morale, and team spirit.
- Support division concepts and programs.
- Utilize bakery systems and processes correctly and consistently.
- Follow recipes and procedures using approved ingredients.
- Practice safe work habits and maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Adhere to Food Safety Procedures and Sanitation Schedule.
- Assist in break-out and dishwashing as needed.
- Help train new team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Key Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Preferably, one year of bakery production experience, including scratch mixing and frozen dough.
- Ability to work with detergents and sanitizers for up to 4 hours.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
- Work within a freezer for up to 15 minutes.
- Basic math and baker’s calculations skills.
- Open to supervisory coaching.
- Flexible to work various hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Maintain current Food Safety Certification.
- Team-oriented attitude.
