Position: Baker at Food City

Location: Jefferson City, TN

Salary: $16.00 - $29.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure efficient and courteous customer service, supporting the company's mission to "Run the Best Store in Town!"
2. Create a positive, friendly, and fun working environment through flexibility and teamwork.
3. Greet and speak to customers, providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
4. Prepare and produce quality baked goods such as bread, rolls, pies, and cookies, meeting or exceeding company standards.
5. Complete daily production sheets and manage frozen product breakout.
6. Manage stock, including proper rotation and maintaining good product dates.
7. Assist in ordering products and supplies needed for daily operations.
8. Ensure all self-service packaged products are correctly packaged with accurate weights and ingredients to meet local regulations.
9. Keep the workstation and surrounding area neat and clean.
10. Follow the company's Food Safety program.
11. Participate in cross-training across multiple areas with varying responsibilities.

Qualifications

1. Must be 18 years or older.
2. Food service experience is a plus but not required.
3. Ability to meet physical, mental, and visual demands.
4. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, perform routine tasks, and interact with various individuals daily.
5. Reliable attendance and adherence to scheduled shifts.
