Job Title

Baker - Back of House (Part Time)

Department & Reporting

Back of House; reports to General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake bread, pastries, desserts, and other baked items according to recipes and production schedules.
• Measure, mix, and scale ingredients with accuracy and consistency.
• Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, and other baking equipment safely.
• Monitor product quality, taste, and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of baking and prep areas.
• Store ingredients properly and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and restocking of baked goods.

Bakers must be available to work early hours to meet operational timelines.

Qualifications

Minimum: 1 year of related kitchen service experience.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

While performing the duties, the employee will stand and walk for long periods, handle food and beverage objects, reach and extend with hands and arms, talk and hear. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, and crawling. Specific vision requirements include close and distance vision and the ability to focus. Work involves exposure to heat and steam.

Location & Travel

Position based in Nashville, TN, Brier Creek, NC, Pflugerville, TX or Columbus, OH with occasional travel to local stores.
