GINGER AND BAKER LLC in Fort Collins is seeking a skilled Baker to assist in the bake shop operations, producing breads, pies, pastries, and desserts to the highest standards. This role involves ensuring guest satisfaction and managing production timelines.

It is the primary responsibility for the Baker to assist and support the bake shop operations, assuring the proper preparation of all baked items for our pie shop, Cafe, Cache restaurant, events/banquets and the day-to-day baking/pastry production.
This position is responsible for preparing/producing/baking breads, pies, pastries, cookies, and desserts according to standard recipes, in order to contribute to the overall guest satisfaction.
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Lines up baked products according to the needs of the particular outlet/function
Utilize any and all leftovers into usable products
High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. An Associate's Degree in F&B and/or course certification from an accredited Culinary Institute is helpful.
State or Local Law may require a certificate upon completion of state-certified proper food handling certification.
1-year experience in a high-volume/fine dining/Banquet/Pastry production kitchen, preferably in a hotel/resort environment is helpful.
Must be able to work in a stationary position for long periods of times (up to 8 hours). Must be able to work and be flexible with all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs. without restriction.
Must be able to work in close quarters or small rooms and is occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet and/or humid condition. Work environmental factors include noise, dust, and smoke.
