Job summary

Panera Bread Parkside is seeking a motivated Baker/Prep Team Member to handle baking and food preparation while supporting teammates across the café. You’ll learn other areas through cross-training and contribute to a smooth, friendly operation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Bake and prepare products according to established recipes to meet quality standards.
• Complete daily prep by preparing ingredients, portioning food, and organizing products for service.
• Maintain quality and freshness through proper food handling, storage, labeling, and rotation procedures.
• Cross-train and support the team: learn other café positions and assist with additional duties as needed.
• Work as a team: communicate with coworkers to keep the café running smoothly during busy periods.

Job description

We’re looking for a motivated Baker/Prep Team Member to join our team! In this role, you’ll primarily focus on baking and food preparation.

While you’ll be hired primarily for the Baker/Prep position, we believe in teamwork and cross-training! You’ll have the opportunity to learn other areas of the café, expand your skills, and help support your teammates wherever needed.

What You’ll Do

• Bake and Prepare Products-Follow established recipes and procedures toprepare baked goods and other food items to meet our quality standards.
• Complete Daily Prep-Prepare ingredients, portion food, andorganize products to ensure the café is ready for service.
• Maintain Quality and Freshness-Follow proper food handling, storage,labeling, and rotation procedures to ensure freshness and food safety.
• Cross-Train and Support the Team: Although your primary role will be baking andfood prep, you’ll learn other café positions and assist with additionalduties as business needs require.
• Work as a Team:Communicate with coworkers and help ensure the café operates efficiently,especially during busy periods.

About You

• Is comfortable standing for extended periods andperforming routine lifting and food preparation tasks, with or withoutreasonable accommodation.
