Job summary

Tokai Carbon GE LLC in Hickman, KY seeks a Technician for the Bake Department to support ring furnace operations in a 24/7 environment. You will handle hot processes, load and move material, and ensure safety and quality in a hands-on setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Experience in heavy industrial environments, hot-work areas, or furnace operations.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and mobile equipment to load, move, and position material around the ring furnace.
• Assist with furnace pit operations and monitor bake progress.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and inspect equipment.
• Follow safety procedures related to heat exposure and carbon materials.
• Document production records and communicate issues promptly.
• Adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
• Work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
