Job summary

Amcor is seeking a detail-oriented production associate to work on the packaging line. You will inspect finished products, perform basic machine adjustments, and ensure labeling accuracy while maintaining a safe work area.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and good communication with team members. Flexibility for weekends and overtime is expected in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to load denester and pack off finished product.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, production environment is highly preferred.
• Regularly stand or sit for long periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Proficient level of mechanical aptitude with ability to use hand tools.
• Good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product to ensure quality; set aside product that fails quality standards.
• Notify leadership of safety, maintenance, or quality concerns.
• Document information correctly on production reports and downtime logs.
• Follow proper packaging procedures to prevent damage during shipping.
• Responsible for labeling product for shipment.
• Work with leads to maintain production goals and adjust machinery as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
