Job summary

Living Earth is hiring a Bagging Line Operator in Roanoke, TX. You will safely set up, start, operate, and maintain the bagging line, while working to maximize production and safety and minimize downtime.

The role requires experience with automatic bagging equipment, fault diagnosis, PLCs and VFDs, and a strong mechanical aptitude. You must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k and PTO.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years proven experience in an industrial operations environment.
• Experience operating automatic bagging equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical mechanical aptitude.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and move around for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate the mulch line bagging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform equipment cleaning and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Conduct validation testing to ensure packaging and quality standards are met.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment stoppages and downtime causes.
• Enter and maintain production paperwork and KPI metrics (rates, downtime, causes).
