Trouw Nutrition is hiring a permanent full-time Bagger Operator for our Sherwood Park, AB location.

About The Role: You will operate an automated bagging system, in a fast-paced environment, ensuring proper quality stock rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining proper stock rotation

• Operating automated bagging system

• Organizing work areas to ensure safety and cleanliness

• Ensuring work space is clean and organized

• Ensure quality standards are met

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent

• 2-3 yrs. experience in a grain facility, mill or manufacturing industry is an asset

Skills:

• Class 5 license an asset

• Forklift and skid steer experience is an asset

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic computer skills and numeracy and accuracy

• Strong problem solving and decision making abilities

• Willingness to be coached and learn processes

Expectation from the Role:

• Full-time; Shift Work Rotation; Overtime as required; Permanent.

• Ability to work shift work is a MUST. Mandatory Shift 10 hour shift and soon 10 am - 10 pm and 10 pm - 10 am. 4 days on / 4 days off

• Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly bend and twist, open and close lids, climb ladders and work at heights, and lift 25 kgs.

• Physical Work Conditions: Often exposed to loud sounds, distracting noise levels, and dusty environment.
