Job summary

Crider Foods is seeking a Bagger Operator to keep the bagger running at production pace and ensure seals and dating meet customer requirements. This role requires standing for long hours and lifting up to 60 lbs while following all safety policies.

You will set up the bagger for production, assist other operators, troubleshoot issues, and work with maintenance to resolve machine problems. A solid production background and the ability to pass management testing are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with hands-on ability.
• Solid work history in production/manufacturing environments.
• Must successfully complete tests as determined by production management.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Food Safety and Quality policies to meet product standards.
• Operate and set up the Bagger for production start.
• Maintain the Bagger throughout the shift.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance tasks on the Bagger.
• Collaborate with maintenance to resolve machine problems.
• Cover shifts if key personnel are absent with a trained operator or lead.
• Report any bagger issues or faulty attachments to maintenance or supervisor promptly.
• Assist other operators as needed to ensure production efficiency.

Position Summary

Position Responsibilities

• Crider, Inc. requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed consumers’ expectations.
• Maintain and demonstrate full working knowledge on how to operate Bagger in a production environment.
• Set up bagger for production start. Help other operators if they need assistance.
• Maintain bagger throughout production shift.
• Troubleshoot issues and work on Bagger during production and during maintenance time.
• Work with maintenance to resolve any machine issues.
• In case of absence of key personnel, the job will be filled by a trained Bagger Operator or Lead.
• If bagger has an issue or an attachment not working correctly (safety’s, splicing bar, film sensor, low film detects, etc.) they are to report it to maintenance if issue is not resolved in a timely manner bagger operator is to inform the Supervisor immediately.

Essential Skills and Experience
