Job summary

Graymont Limited in Eden, Wisconsin, seeks a Bagger for the hydrated lime operation on the 2nd shift (3 PM–1 AM, Mon–Thu with possible Friday overtime). The role supports a two-person team producing bags and assisting in bulk and mortar lime production.

Candidates must meet safety rules, be physically fit to lift 75 lbs, and be willing to work in varied environments with lime dust. Forklift/industrial experience is a plus; strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

Graymont is one of the largest lime and limestone producers in North America. The Eden Plant is a very well-established operation in Wisconsin with long‑term commitments for community and environmental stewardship.

The Bagger will work as part of a two‑person team to produce bags of hydrated lime; assisting, as needed in the bulk bag and mortar and ground lime production departments. The Bagger will be expected to load and secure loads on customer and contract trucks and assist in the maintenance of production equipment as needed.

The Role

• Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices
• Operate bagging equipment while following safety precautions and standards
• Operate automatic palletizer while following safety precautions and standards
• Operate forklift truck while following safety precautions and standards
• Effectively communicate and cooperate with truck drivers and customers
• Detect and respond to safety hazards and equipment malfunctions in accordance with safety rules and standards
• Lift, carry, push, or move a minimum of 75 lbs
• Assist in various manual labor tasks around the plant as needed such as housekeeping, greasing, bagging, etc.
• Work in various environments, including weather variations and exposure to fine lime/limestone dust (personal protective equipment is supplied by Graymont)

Qualifications

• Current Driver’s License is a strong asset
• Over 18 years of age
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Desired
• Physically fit and ability to work shifts
• Self‑motivated, goal oriented, and excellent communication skills
• Be able to think on your feet and troubleshoot/problem solve
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem‑solving ability
• Ability to adapt well to fast‑paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
• Mechanical experience an asset
• Experience working in industrial environments preferred
• Must possess the ability to read and write the English language to effectively interpret manuals, regulations, reports; must have the ability to complete various types of paperwork
