Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is hiring a Baggage System Support Technician in New York. You will maintain the cleanliness and operation of automated baggage handling systems, troubleshoot jams, and assist with equipment issues under supervision.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work varying shifts including nights/weekends/holidays, and compliance with FAA/OSHA safety protocols. Aviation experience is a plus and English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Aviation industry experience is a plus.
• 18 years of age or older; eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset baggage system jams and faults to minimize downtime.
• Remove, sort, and transport luggage using baggage carts to designated locations.
• Monitor and communicate baggage system faults to appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards (FAA, OSHA).
• Manually encode and scan baggage tags as needed.
• Learn to inspect and understand BHS equipment performance under supervision.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
