Job summary

ERMC Aviation is seeking a BHS Maintenance Supervisor at DAL Airport to lead maintenance and repair of automated baggage handling systems. This role blends hands-on technical work with supervision to ensure system reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.

You will supervise technicians, implement preventive maintenance, troubleshoot PLC controls, collaborate with operations and engineering, and mentor staff. Shift coverage includes mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in baggage handling systems or industrial maintenance.
• Strong leadership and team management skills; read schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a team of technicians for maintenance and repairs on BHS conveyors.
• Perform routine inspections and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC control issues.
• Monitor system performance and implement downtime-reducing improvements.
• Coordinate with airport operations and engineering to resolve challenges.
• Train and mentor technicians on safety practices.
