McGee Air Services is looking for a Part-time Baggage Handler to join our Oakland team!

Are you interested in working at the airport? Do you love working in a team and being physically active? If so, look no further because we are seeking energetic, dedicated team members to join our growing company as Ramp Agents at the Oakland Airport!

Qualifications:

• Experience operating equipment such as tugs/tractors and belt loaders.
• Perform fleet functions and other servicing tasks (e.g., cabin and overnight cleaning, lavatory, water).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment.
• Safety is our top priority; personal safety gear is provided.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items frequently and within short timelines; work in high or cramped spaces; climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop for extended periods; push/pull loaded carts; stand for long durations.

Must haves to join our team:

• Work at a quick pace for up to two hours continuously.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Obtain and maintain airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance, including background checks, drug screening, and fingerprinting.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
• Ability to interpret flight schedules and airline information using electronic tools.
• Perform basic mathematical functions like counting bags and verifying cargo weights.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid driver's license and one of the following documents: original or certified birth certificate, unexpired US passport, Permanent Resident Card, or unexpired US Territory Passport with I-94.
• Airport SIDA Badge Requirements: Employees must obtain and maintain a SIDA badge issued by the airport authority. For details, review the SIDA Badge Requirements document.

Physical Requirements of the Job:

All team members must be able to lift up to 75 pounds constantly and perform tasks while kneeling, bending, or stooping as required.
