Riceland Foods in Stuttgart, AR is seeking a Bag Sewing Machine Operator in the Sewn Dept. This full-time role runs M-F 7a–3p with possible extended hours and weekend work; a 15% shift premium applies after 5pm.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Experience with bag sewing machines and related equipment preferred.
• Ability to stand 2-3 hours and lift up to 110 lb during scale checks.

Responsibilities

• Start, stop, load, set and adjust automated bag sewing machines; verify product type and labels and ensure markings are correct.
• Operate standard sewing machines when necessary and perform preventative maintenance on machinery and dust systems.
• Follow HACCP and Food Safety policies; maintain plant safety and report unsafe conditions.
