Job summary

Kraft Heinz, Inc. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is seeking a meticulous Material Handler to support production lines. You will weigh raw ingredients according to recipes, organize materials by placing them in barrels or drums, and stage supplies for production.

Responsibilities

• Weigh raw ingredients according to the recipe.
• Organize ingredients for recipes by placing them in barrels, drums, etc.
• Perform regular inventory checks on ingredients per the schedule.
• Stage materials according to the recipe.
• Complete paperwork and IQS entries.
• Cover staged ingredients as needed.
• Attach recipe tags to barrels or carts when the recipe is complete.
• Clean and sanitize the work area.
• Assist with other recipes as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assemble or changeover equipment as assigned.
• Ensure product quality and verify item numbers and weights; follow safety protocols (PPE, JSA).

• Other duties as assigned
• Assemble/changeover equipment as assigned
• Quality (verify product quality, item numbers, weights) Safety (follow all required safe work practices—ie: PPE, JSA)

Requirements
