ProAmpac in Wisconsin is seeking Converting Assistants for the Bags Department. You will inspect materials, assist in machine changeovers, perform quality checks, and move materials safely using PIV equipment. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collect, package, and label finished bags/gaylords per production requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues, including material inconsistencies and equipment malfunctions.
• Assist in machine changeovers for different production runs, including loading and preparing new rolls of material.
• Perform quality inspections and testing on finished bags, including drop tests and seal integrity checks.
• Operate PIV equipment to move materials safely around the work area.
• Provide a pathway for advancement into an operator role with opportunities to develop skills.

Schedule

2, 2, 3 rotating schedule between days and nights - rotation every two weeks.
