Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Bag Machine Operator I for the early shift. Pay is $25.75 per hour, Monday–Friday, 5 AM–3 PM, with a morning shift focus on basic machine operation, inspection, packing, and material handling.

Opportunity to advance to Operator II and grow within a manufacturing team dedicated to quality and safety. Responsibilities include following SOPs, maintaining bag line safety and quality, and supporting team members by promoting efficient production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret standard measuring tapes.
• Ability to work safely with minimal supervision.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and safety rules to operate and inspect the bag line.
• Pack bags into boxes, ensuring 70–75 lb box weights per bag specifications.
• Push boxes from packers’ conveyor to box conveyor and maintain counts.
• Report any suspect or defective product for review or hold.
• Assist other operators and helpers as needed when machines are down.
• Learn bag specifications and operate across all machines.
